Things to do around Faloppio
Lake Como, Canton Ticino and the hills of Varese: all less than half an hour's drive.
Faloppio is a quiet village in the province of Como, a few minutes from the Swiss border: a good base for the lake, Canton Ticino and the hills around Varese. By car everything is within half an hour; for Como there is also a bus, with the stop on Via Provinciale in Gaggino.
The most convenient airport is Milan Malpensa, about 45 minutes by car.
Como
a 25-minute drive awayThe old town inside its medieval walls, the cathedral, Piazza Cavour on the lake and the Viale Geno promenade. The funicular takes you up to Brunate, with a view over the whole southern end of the lake.
